Most illegal guns in Canada are black market imports from the US and China. While some of them are stolen from law-abiding gun owners south of the border, Chinese factory reps have been known to cater to the criminal element, hence the US ban on all Chinese guns. Also, most guns are stupid-easy to make. In the Philippines, you can get a QUALITY garden shed-built Colt 1911 for $50. There are plans to either CNC or print many popular guns out there and machinists have been caught making those for the criminal element. There was a guy who bult an AK-47 receiver out of a shit-shovel from his barn. The lowest level street soldiers belonging to big gangs like the Maras don't get normal guns.. They're lucky to get easy to make zip-guns. Where there is a will, there is a way. Until you figure out a way to really disarm all criminals, I'll stick with "If guns get outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" and I sure as hell don't wanna live in such a society

How do i know that YOU'RE not the problem? I as a gun owner get a daily background check by the rcmp, when was the last time you got one? On top of that i had to get a in depth background check by the rcmp to begin with and they also contacted several references to see what im like. As if that wasn't enough i was also interviewed by the rcmp, had to complete a firearm course and had to pass several practical as well as written tests.
Have you done any of the above? If not, perhaps we should really be more worried about you since you claim that you can get an illegal firearm.
