Look Up GUN. see the History of the Gun. What the Use of the gun was for.. The Description of the gun itself says its a weapon. LOL

This is just becoming a silly semantics argument now.

Guns may have been originally invented in order to kill in warfare (similar to crossbows, knives, and axes), but have since been utilized elsewhere and are now designed for many other purposes than to kill.
