i grew up in a house were there was a loaded shot gun standing behind the bedroom door, as a kid we were taught not to touch it ever unless the oldman was there and doing some target practice. growing up in a house with rifles all around was not a big dael as they were never looked at as something to kill people with
again. You dont pay attention. If anyone has taken the time to read what Yetti writes, he has never said hes afraid of guns.
You keep showing your ignorance by dancing around questions, Answering questions with question, making jokes, Attacking character etc.
Maybe you werent prepared for an actual debate, maybe you underestimated Yetti. Who Knows.
Yetti has Offered any of the you choice to have a real debate, and you all tucked tail and took off. Yetti isnt Suprised that a Group of Gun Nuts turned out to be Pussies. You Need a weapon to fight, Becasue you dont have brains
Apologies if anyones offended, But thats the simple truth. How can you deny it after reading this ?
What were you saying about a debate with no insults?

Alright so i quickly went through this thread, and i can't find a single post where i insulted you. I did however come across something strange, hypocrisy on the part of yetti on many occasions.
1. You said lets keep the debate without name calling, then proceed to call me retarded several times lol 2. You said you'd answer all questions however majority of them you didn't even acknowledge, never mind answer them
Any facts we present to you are not facts, yet anything you say shall be viewed as fact without any backup, research or statistics.
How can ANYONE have a debate with you yetti given the above?

Yetti, you've posted a simplified question to a complex debate. There have to be more points to consider. Is the armed wedding law abiding c+c carriers or just ppl that are armed with illegal guns? If legal c+c carriers, I'd go to either party. If illegal guns or non-restricted like the wild west, then yes, that would be the party where a shooting has a higher "chance" of happening.
The debate is not allowing anyone to just carry a gun, but to allow completely trained and scrutinized individuals other than politicians and security guards to carry. Not a lot of ppl are going to go through the process that are not committed to it. There would be checks and cost involved. Someone not intending to be safe, etc. will just get an illegal gun. Happening already. Yes, more guns "may" have a chance of more shootings, but right now the shootings are from illegal guns. That's my understanding right now, correct me if that's wrong and the shooting aren't from illegal guns.
***edit*** Come to think of it. At Chinese weddings, cops are almost always hired to be present...lots of jewelery worn and given. So if it's known there were c+c carriers at wedding A and none at wedding B....which one would get robbed?

You guys cant admit that a party without guns is a relatively safer party than one without guns. also, many of you skipped over answering questions, and instead answer with other questions.
Yetti didnt answer any of those, becasue you refused to answer any of mine.
you will never admit that a city in which C&C is allowed is More dangerous than a City where handguns are prohibited. its just plain common sense.
\Just like any city with more cars will have more accidents. More of anything means more of something else, not less.
You cant Fathom that, Im not sure why. You pull out stats, But stats dont have variables, do they ?
if you want a Gun to carry around and be macho, Have at it. I dont really give a fuck, But stop shoving horseshit up everyones ass about Guns being safe, and they arent weapons or any other shit you force feed yourself to make you feel better.
You are terrified to leave the house unarmed it seems. You are the one that seems to have a problem not being armed. You are the Minority. WE have Laws Here that everyone seems to like, But thats not good enough for you. You aparently cant pass their Tests to carry, You dont qualify. and you are mad.

You are wrong though... and I linked to stats that prove it. Areas that allow carry permits are safer than when those same areas didn't allow carry permits.

So to finally answer your question... I think the wedding full of concealed carry permits would be safer -- they are not drinking, they have proven themselves sane and capable enough to get a carry permit -- so they are my kind of people.

Weeeelllll....the graphs also show a US decline, if I'm reading it correctly. So that would indicate a general decline with or without the c+c.

So everyone is responsible, or might there be an idiot or two amongst them ?
You know theres going to be idiots.
maybe one of the Idiots doesnt even own a gun, but sees one and plays with it.
BLAMMO
see, what you dont get, is that any scenario with a gun, can be loaded with " what if's "
and any sceanrio without guns cant, Cause theres no "what if's " if the Gun has been removed
You all believe More guns will be less violence and I believe More guns brings more violence.

However, you will never be rid of guns.
So lets say someone at this unarmed wedding party has recently drawn a picture of Muhammad fucking a goat, and some nutbag jihadist breaks in to gun him and his family down.
Now which wedding party would you rather be at?

Actually, it showed that at a point in time, prior to allowing carry permits, the crime rate in that area was much higher than the average crime rate of all of USA. When carry permits were allowed, the crime rate in that area decreased along the same trend that crime in USA decreased, but also further decreased to get closer to the average in general.
Since Illinois started granting concealed carry permits this year, the number of robberies that have led to arrests in Chicago has declined 20 percent from last year, according to police department statistics. Reports of burglary and motor vehicle theft are down 20 percent and 26 percent, respectively. In the first quarter, the city’s homicide rate was at a 56-year low.
“It isn’t any coincidence crime rates started to go down when concealed carry was permitted. Just the idea that the criminals don’t know who’s armed and who isn’t has a deterrence effect,” said Richard Pearson, executive director of the Illinois State Rifle Association. “The police department hasn’t changed a single tactic — they haven’t announced a shift in policy or of course — and yet you have these incredible numbers.”
