/\ What he said. Also i'd carry a firearm with multiple safeties
BTW yetti please stop pulling "facts" out of your ass. To this date i haven't seen one article that mentioned what type of firearm was actually used so how can you tell that the kid got through the safety without even knowing if the firearm in question had one?
Her father-in-law said that when she walked into the Hayden Walmart Tuesday morning, her 9-millimeter Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun was safely tucked into a purse with a special pouch designed to carry a concealed weapon. He said she had just received it as a Christmas gift.
Yetti believes he read that the father said the whole family was gun friendly and knew how to handle them, One would assume if the gun had a safety it would have been on. child safety lock on firearms ?
Now why cant we open those god-damn Pill containers

Would another piece of paper have prevented this goof from shooting himself? We'll never know but we should try to do something even if it doesnt make sense.

I'd help you answer that if I knew... but I don't. I don't know any cops.
I've read previously that it is at the discretion of their chief if they can carry their gun home or not, but I think you'd be better off asking on a cop forum.
To further Yetti's question though... what about Brinks guards or CBSA? Since Brinks are civilian, are they carrying on some sort of ATT or how does that work? What are their off duty restrictions?

Brinks and other security companies only can carry at work, since once they leave work they no longer have the companies money with them and everyone knows that their lives aren't worth protecting, just the cash...
