I installed these tires for this season because the Pirelli Angels increased in price. Pirelli bought Metzeler, so I had a feeling these will be just as good. Hate to say it, but I was right.

They both have similar carcass construction, a steel belt. I love steel because there's less twisting in the corners. Great sport touring tires for the price! The only draw back I see is it is not dual compound. But for the price, you can get 2 tires for 1.

Good traction in the wet & cold! I have yet to break the rear. I haven't gone extra aggressive on them, maybe when it warms up. But just practicing some gymkana moves didn't phase them or slip.

Highly recommended for the price!

Pretty impressed. I only lost traction when I hammer the throttle after a turn. Great all round street tires!!

Are those race tires?

I used to run the pirelli angels, decided to try something different. I haven't had a disappointment from metzeler.

Touring tires are awesome in wet & cold, highly recommend.

Modern ST tires probably offer the performance race tires did 10 years ago. I'm not pushing any harder on the street than I did 10 years ago.

Agreed.
The only time I felt anything this summer was when it was really hot & the tires felt a bit greasy. Could be it wasn't designed to work at such high temps.
