Tbh I haven't found anything great at any of the big box stores. I would check with a sign company and see what they use. Wonder if the 3M Command stuff works im outdoor applications

Don't think it matters with this stuff. Used it to mount the aluminum trim below. Supposedly they use this tape for things that normally they used screws / rivets for and it holds up
I guess time will tell...

So its been over a month, went through freezing temperatures, rain, snow, also i drive this truck 5 days a week, through our horrific pothole roads. 14,000km + and this tape hasn't let go. I actually tried to pull the trim off as hard as i could to see if it will come off, but not a chance.
Whatever works for you. You don't want to spear a motorcyclist with some trimmings.
