Yetti doesnt get it..

people suggesting winter tires be mandatory ? why ?

have our winters changed that much over time ? Yetti doesnt remember anyone switching over every winter 10 years ago, even 20 years ago.

Yetti knows that winter tires are better.. thats a no brainer, but that doesnt mean all seasons cannot still be effective.

Look at those 2 police cars that went under the school busses.. Yetti bets they had a full set of brand new winter tires on em, by highly trained drivers.

winter tires wont stop accidents.. if anything they might give already bad drivers a false sense of security

theres a massive difference between wanting and telling.

agree with both of you, however i don't agree with anything being "the law"
I do however support the insurance company not covering your damage in winter driving conditions without them. For example, icy day and you rear end someone, or slide off the road cause your tires suck.
I have em, i like em. Mine aren't even that great, but it makes a difference.
The newest tires that you can literally hear the traction, those look awesome, but i don't have 800$ + for those yet.
