Liberal media reports will probably read like this: 3 local youths entered a neighbour's home in order to borrow a cup of sugar to start their own lemonade stand. That is when the agitated homeowner misidentified their quite obviously peaceful intentions, picked up a fully automatic assault rifle model 15, equipped with a barrel shroud (the shoulder thing that goes up), unloaded a 30 magazine clip on them and mowed down at least one of them in a callous act of senseless violence. Those youths were all good boys, upstanding citizens, volunteers, just working on generating income to turn their lives around, but at least one of those promising lives came to a violent end. We need to ban guns in order to prevent something like this from ever happening again! Peaceful protests will be held every night for 3 weeks, with police car-shaped bonfires, for your marshmallow-roasting pleasure.
On a serious note, I'd recommend for the homeowner to take a basic marksmanship course and a defensive shooting course. She got through this through sheer luck, valor and having the right tool to protect her family.
