Meh. After my hid ballast left me stranded in PA, I went back to normal bulbs. What are you looking to find out? I know leds consume less power and are very bright etc....
Leds are less bright. Check out the lumens And also they need proper cooling if they are powerful enough

Roomie im looking for a bit brighter headlights, my stock ones on my 2010 gsxr are pretty sad. I was set on getting HIDs but decided to give the LEDs a shot. No ballast to fuck with and they seem pretty bright. Anyways picked up this LED 6000K bulb and took a few comparison pictures...
Top one is with the bike on the stand, one below is with the bike level, and last one is with stock highbeams on...
Still trying to decided whether to stick with these or go with the hid. One thing for sure im not a fan of the blue tint, should have gone with 4300

Well you guys ain't much help...
Anyways this is what i learned with my little experiment. I picked up a 6000k LED bulb from Daytona Motorsports and above are the pics. Turns out that they are brighter than the stock bulb but what i didn't know is that the light dispersion with an LED becomes all messed up. The one i purchased was very similar to the picture below, and i think the problem is once you put that bulb into a projector headlight it doesn't spread out the light like regular/hid bulbs do since the light is all around instead of 2 sides like in the LED.
So my .02, don't waste your cash on these bulbs...
Now for anyone who knows, what is the whitest HID? Is it 4300k or 6000k? Im finding contradicting results online and with local dealers...
Paul you can also try good bulbs. osram makes some ridiculous ones. night breaker or something along those lines. pricey but apparentlyvery good from what I've read.

I put some sylvania ones in my wifes care when she was complaining that the stock lights were garbage. The results were pretty good but those bulbs died every 6 months...
