Rebuild Time

Here is what happened...the car in front of me slammed on his brakes because there was a kid crossing at a crosswalk...we were doing about 40km & I was just over a car length away & there was a car to my left...the car I front of me managed to stop in time and not hit the kid, my brakes were locked & I was sliding trying to avoid the impact...but failed on that, my right mirror broke off while taking out the cars tail light, now the other car to my left kept going and also hit the crossing kid and stopped, after I bounced off the first car I wend straight away into the left car...that's where the most damage on the front fairing took....Ambulance, fire trucks & the cops showed up, the kid that got struck bounced off the windshield and land in front of me when I seen that I let go of the bike I put my body between the bike & kid...he walked away with a small bruise on his elbow...luck for him!

Now when the dust settled...I ended up getting a careless driving charge, the Asian lady that struck the kid was let off!
As you can see the rear tire of the car is on the cross walk where the pedestrian was crossing...I will go to court & fight this...this was total bullshit & not my fault at all!

I still have to get the fairings off to see if there is any damage underneath, I know for sure that the birdcage is busted

I'd fight that ticket for sure, and would hire a paralegal to do it. Check out the guys at Hwy Law on Keele street. They've been saving my ass for a good 15 years +....
