As this winter has been mild, it's still too cold to ride regularly.
I'm looking forward to the show in a couple weeks to make vroom vroom noises on a few bikes I'm interested in.
I've been thinking about getting a more street friendly bike that won't have me losing my license every time I shift into 2nd. (Actually, it just takes effort to get into license losing territory).
I've been looking more and more at the Z1000, FZ1, the new Z800 and new gsx-s. I don't know how I feel about the FZ-09 and it's suspension but that's just me. I'd like something Japanese again, although I've heard good things about the Street/Speed triple.
What do you guys think of these middle/heavy weight naked bikes? I haven't owned a naked bike since I had an sv650 way back when. My problem is also I'm so used to the handling and performance response of super sports and 1000+cc bikes.
Any other bikes you think would fit in the criteria of 'good street bike' I missed?
