Like how 80% of the cams in Chicago all seem to be not working... 3 days paid suspension is a real tough sentence.

That's something they end to be rid of is this paid suspension bs. The majority of the rest of us don't get that. Why should they? And yes I agree cameras will just be anther waste of our money.
i understand why paid suspension exists, I just don't agree with how it gets executed more often than not.
Mind you, they get suspensions at the drop of a hat, and I doubt you'd have many good cops sticking around if any Joe Schmoe could file false complaints and you sit home for days/weeks until it gets resolved, while bills still come in. Ya know?
However, when there is BLATANT misuse of government issued property or 'forgetting' to do things that are a part of your job, that's when the hammer should come down. problem is, there's this really big BLUE line that stops it from happening. Anyone got an eraser?
