These people are useless. 2+ months now, 4 "service technicians" and i use that term lightly. Two of them couldn't even speak english. Wires from house to utility pole replaced. Wire on the damn utility pole replaced. Wires and cable ends inside the house replaced. Three visits to the rogers store to replace my "faulty" modem dealing with people who have the combined iq of a bagel. I lost count of how many hours i spent with "mike" or "bob" on technical support who too seem to have a problem speaking english. They'll take an hour bouncing my call from one person to the next and every single damn one of them has to verify my name, phone number, address, birthday, shoe size...
And then at the end of all of this they don't want to credit me because i still downloaded quite a bit when it was actually working.

Lol.
We had an issue with Rogers actually being on an obscure blacklist. When we called they wouldn't believe me so I had one of my super techy guys call them and they didn't believe him either. He didn't relent and forced them to goto the blacklist site and showed them the entry. The guy was like "oh.......".

?
I heard they intentionally do that when they don't want to help you or simply can't help you. They're hoping you just "go away"

One of the things I like about TekSavvy is I get a lovely woman named Marie in St.Catharines, or Brian in New Brunswick, to help me out. Ironically in both instances I've had to call them, it was a third party provider issue *cough* Rogers *cough* that was the culprit. After 15 years of back and forth between Bell and Rogers, I avoid the big 3 like the plague.

It's been almost 1.5yrs & I haven't had to call teksavvy. Saving time not being on the phone is $ in itself

Only reason I ever had to call were due to fuck ups by third parties. TekSavvy has been great for years.

My big question about Teksavvy is why rogers or bell business internet is around $95 per month and from what I can find on the teksavvy website it's $200+ per month.

not true, i pay 37.95 a month and have been for 2 yrs. fuck rogers and bell big corporate greed that treat people like shit on the heel of there shoe.
then when they piss you off enough to go to another supplier they still try to fuck you over by trying to hit you with some bullshit charge that the pin on.

Their 25/10 business connection is $100/mth.
With Bell, it's on promotion for $71/mth with some conditions, and you have to sign a 3 year agreement. Also, you have to have a bell phone line, and it jumps back to $101/mth if you violate their wordy terms.
Rogers is also a 3 year term, at $80/mth, plus modem rental with a 30/5 pipe.
Difference I see is no contract with teksavvy and no extra fees. Best to call and ask.

I assume it's only that price for 2mths. Then it jumps to 120 per month or something like that. All I can say is, I'm really happy

On their website they show a 25/10 and they want the following:
Monthly $109 Dry loop $5/mo Modem $120 plus $10 shipping 2 IP's $5/mo Start up fee $95
So it looks like $$225 up front plus $119/month.
My rogers biz was $95 install and $92/month on a 2 yr contract for a 25/10.
Are you out in the country side? I heard they don't reach out there quite well.
Another option is Acanac. They offer a good price

I get a good price in Scarborough, plus I get 75gb for a basic pkg. Good deal for me. Plu I don't have to worry about my bill getting surprise charges every month. It is simplified & easy to read.
Never going back to Rogers
