Every one half jokingly expected it after that nutbar killed the soldier in Ottawa. But common sense prevailed and people saw what it was, a crazy person doing something extreme and not a prolific terrorist attempt against Ottawa.

Well, under that guise, they're trying to put forth "patriot act north". We already have the Anti-TerrorismAct of 2001 and have EXISTING laws already in place for anything imaginable. Yet very much like HTA 172 in Ontario, why enforce existing laws when we can pass/introduce more ridiculousness?
