For the directory tree bit, it's in the top left corner, just hover over/single click and it takes you directly to the sub-forum.

as for mobile app, just needs to be enabled:
www.proboards.com/mobile-forum-app

looks like it supports tapatalk out of the box.

I've been looking into that. Its annoying to have to scroll back up, but can't seem to find anything to fix that right now
