Going to Montreal for a couple of days - what are the best options to park.
When I travel for work I park on the closest to the building parking lot but it is expensive. I have also parked on the one you have to take the little train, that was pretty good and cheap.
Is there a cheaper option?
I do not wan to have to take transit to it or have to wait until someone brings me my car.
Check out www.skypark.ca $10/day, they offer a valet service so they pick up and drop off your car at the airport, or you can take their shuttle bus if you wanna hold on to your keys. About a 2-3 min shuttle bus ride.

6pm on Tuesday and I can't remember what time I come back - No worries, easier to just park the car at the airport, the freaking flights are always delayed and won't want you waiting.

The amount of time that you are gonna spend going to the airport, parking your car, checking in, boarding, flying then repeating the process again in montreal you could just get in you car and drive there.

I would normally agree, specially because I enjoy driving and road trips, but that road to Montreal is so fucking boring and I have done it so many times that I can't be bothered this time.
Flying- You have to load your car, drive to airport and park, pull your suitcase around until you can get on the flight. take taxi's everywhere, rinse and repeat for coming back.
How much does all this cost ? unknown factor
Driving. Pack the car, drive. go when you want, listen to whatever. captain of your ship.

Pro's. you get to fly. flying is fucking cool. you get 1.5 hours of stress free time, flying ! which is cool.
\Cons- stress of parking, dealing with airport staff that suck ass and listening to french flight attendents.
We are just going for a couple of days, so: -There is no loading the car with any suitcase since we are just bringing one carry on school bag each. -No checking in the airline counter, boarding pass on the phone so it can be scanned and we go straight into security. -No waiting for suitcases at the airport in Montreal, right from the airplane through security and out. -Hotel is downtown, walking distance from the Hockey arena (where we are watching the Canada vs USA match) so no cabs except the one from the airport and back. -Everything else we are doing is downtown.
All that made me decide to fly instead of driving - like i said, the most horrible drive since I don't have time to go through Ottawa.
I always use the cheapest park n fly. Always worked out fine. Until our last trip in September. I think we left on the hottest day of the year and the normal 5-10 minute wait for the shuttle bus turned into 45 minutes with a 11 month old. On our return 3 "valet" busses show up and leave empty as we wait another 45-60 minutes. I complained, so I now have free valet park n fly for our trip next week..

The flight is only 1hr 15min
But add sitting around in the airport, and finding a spot to park it doesn't seem like you'll be saving much time. Then sitting in a plane with other tools the solo car ride at $0.90 a litre gas starts to sounds so much more enjoyable.

Not to mention that since you would be in Quebec with a car, might as well buy a few cases of beer for cheaper than you can get in Ontario too. Good luck carrying a 60-pack of cans from costco on the return flight though.
