I found a couple of imperfections on the forks so I decided to take them completely apart & get the bottoms anodized instead, I know I just wasted $50.00 but I wasn't completely happy...mind you they look great from 10 feet but once you get closer it reveals the flaws!

Thanks for the compliment Afkazx600 but this is going on 3 years in the making of the bike the way I want it!

Roomie I thought that you love the HP4? Why would you want my bike?

Calipers have been polished...so black anodized fork legs will work nicely!

I think the color with the rotor and caliper will work. It's not like you can get coloured rotors.

The forks are all apart now & I just dropped off the legs at the Anodizers to do a 2 stage black coating in semi-gloss...I wasn't very happy with the last job that was done to them, I guess that I am a perfectionist...

The only way to get the bottoms off is by heating them up to break the loctite free...

Now they will look a hell of a lot better when they are finished!

Anodizing is all done & I must say it looks 1000 times better than powder coating or paint...what a difference, this was a 2 step process so that heat and time will not make it fade...the CNC lines are visible and all that little detail is still there...I am very happy with the results now time to put everything back together...
