My custom 1 off Galfer rotors are finally finished, they will be shipped out to me tomorrow but here they are, I have waited for 1 year & 7 months for them but now they are...ALL DONE!!! The full set with pads...
The fronts...
The full floating rear...
I am so stoked & now I can't wait to get them on the bike!
Paul...no I don't sell drugs lol! I paid for these over 1 year & a half ago when I designed them...I just had to find someone to build them for me & that was a guy from California, the funny thing is that Galfer liked this design that they are installing it on a AMA race bike for testing...also they are sending me a shitload of stuff from Galfer!
Mine is the only 848 in the world to have this full floating rear rotor...so now that they have the blueprints for the full floating rear rotor for the 848/1098/1198 thanks to yours truly Galfer will most likely mass produce them, they are doing testing on the AMA Ducati race bikes with them...they will be available if you ever want to upgrade the brakes!
Look at the shape of the holes drilled in mine they are tear dropped shaped in 3 different sizes, the blades are 330mm to where the regular are 320mm & the carriers are not slanted or directional like the Superbike rotors on the link...plus they don't make that style anymore...that's what I intended to get when I 1st ordered the Galfers, when you buy superbike rotors from Galfer now the holes are round & the carriers are straight...so I went with the standard wave rotor carrier & superbike style blade then I had the slots which are slightly different & holes drilled to the way I like them, I also wanted a matching rear full floating rotor that had to get built from scratch!
