I could never get over what they did to the front end of that bike. Mechanically I've heard nothing but praise for a 999. I'd still take a 996 or 998 over one personally or the style of sinz bike. I think those are the best looking ones they've ever made as far as sport bikes go

See...as I was telling you at the show yesterday...same goes for me I think that the BMW RR has a hideous front end along with the Ducati 999 I am all about equal aesthetic balance, the only way those 2 bikes look good is in track trim IMHO!

I love the SSSA on the Ducati's...I know it's only 1 side & not equal but it looks so damn sexy, on the 899 it was a let down because of the regular swingarm!
