How many of you had basic, general, and advanced classes at high school?
Did you call the people in basic "OCs" (pronounced Awks), as in occupational studies (they had a class on pumping fuel, for example)?
I went to the same high school as Justin Beiber's dad Jeremy. Jeremy took basic level classes. In fact, I am pretty sure I bought my first vial of oil from him...he must have aced occupational studies... oh, Stratford memories.

Well we're all more politically correct nowadays...even if we don't think so. It gets ingrained.
I did Gr13, but there were also level 3s in my high school. Not many, but enough. We still didn't have the allergy warnings till much later. One of my kids has a mild peanut allergy, but very mild fortunately.
you might thinks think this sounds crazy, but i believe by making all these rules for safety, and cleanliness has actually been bad for our natural Immune systems.
everywhere you look people are spraying stuff, and rubbing stuff into their hands ridding the cooties once and for all.
thats how i think this peanut thing got started.
by making everything completely peanut/allergen free over time, people immune systems start to lower, then when it gets hit, its game over.
having food almost peanut free keeps the immune system on guard kinda thing.. Yetti isnt a dr by any means, but thats what he thinks.
There seems to be something about being too germ free. You don't build up immunity if too much anti bacterial stuff gets used. And the good germs get killed off too.
It's because people want perfectly symmetrical and shiny fruits and vegetables, like in cartoons or textbooks. It's what sells. No one wants a dingy plain looking apple or potato, that may have a worm in it. So they spray, and modify, and spray some more until tomatoes are the size of softballs and every potato looks the same.
