Yetti went to a private range in Seattle a few times
got to shoot ak's and ar's on full auto... also auto clip Glocks.
shot a desert Eagle a few times and some German gun that was a handgun with a stock that was auto too.
the sense of power you have when shooting these things is beyond description.

Yetti understands the point of trying to save money by not paying outrageous rental fees..
Depends on what kind of shooting Buttercup likes.
But the Hoops you have to jump through in order to buy/own/transport and store firearrms is f_ _ _ _ _ g ridiculous. the only thing these laws are doing, is annoying law-abiding citizens.
Own your own if you have a private place to shoot without Joe Law bugging you
Rent if you want to blast shit away, But I dont think they even allow you to go full Automatic, do they ?
why shoot an AK, or AR if you cant let er rip ? hehe

Paul & Klr: Have you shot an AK47?? I thought so...
Ya nothing special, paid north of 100$ to shoot a couple automatic rifles in vegas including the ak and had a babysitter with me the whole time.
Another time in phoenix was a whole different experience. Took a couple handguns, as well as an m16 with no babysitter, no range fee, just paid for the ammo. But that's rare, usually they milk you.
I've been to target sports and their prices make our friends down south look like a deal.
You're getting hosed, go get your license and get your own firearms.
I prefer going down to a range on my own time on a day off with no babysitter...

What makes you think I don't have my license, lol. You keep bringing that up. I've had my license for three years. I was into firearms long before it was cool on gtam. I implore you to check out my join date on CGN, lolz

Also, my point here is, you can't shoot certain guns here in Canada. If you really need variety you gotta go down the US

I was assuming you didn't and instead just rented firearms. I figured anyone with a license would purchase their own firearms instead of renting them out and pay ridiculous prices...

We can still shoot some cool guns here on private land or crown land if you know somebody or know a spot.
I often shoot a mini-14, a su-16, a T97, an SKS, a Sub2K, etc, and they are all a lot of fun except for the mag limits, although the su-16, T97, and Sub2k can legally shoot with 10-round mags.
The most cheap fun I have though is with a 10/22 and a 110 round GSG mag... that is a blast.
I have also shot burst and full auto back in the day with a C7, C8, C9, and a C6. Sure, shooting was fun, but everything else about the army wasn't much fun.
